We had our first snowfall of the season on Saturday. It snowed all day long, so that the trees that still have their leaves were covered and bent over from the weight on the branches. Steve went out twice to use a rake to knock some of the snow off. The power went off a couple times for up to twenty minutes, some places lost power for hours/days. I am guessing that falling tree branches knocked some lines down.
It was a perfect day for staying in and being lazy. The moisture was great and much needed to help the landscape prepare for winter. I lost my begonias and coleus but amazingly the geraniums are still going strong.
This is the time of year when S. gets the snow blower out but can’t put the lawn mower away yet either.
